Tristen earned her B.A. in English from Muhlenberg College and later completed her Master’s in Elementary Education at Bank Street College of Education. She has continued to expand her expertise through specialized training, including Teachers College Lucy Calkins Writer’s Workshop and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Tristen has brought her passion for teaching and literacy to the classroom for nearly two decades, serving first as the 2nd Grade Lead Teacher and now as the Humanities Extension Coach for grades K–8.
